Standards and Evaluation Support Specialist
**Description** The Mission Concepts and Capabilities Division (MCC) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking several full-time **Standards and Evaluation Support Specialist** to provide on-site support to the customer. The right candidates will provide comprehensive evaluation and testing administration support at Hill AFB, Nellis AFB, and Langley AFB. These roles ensure compliance with Air Force evaluation directives, maintain accountability of testing materials, update mandated systems, and produce required Stan/Eval reports for leadership. You will work closely with HARM, schedulers, training officers, Stan/Eval shops, Wing OSS, and squadron leadership to enable mission readiness and compliance and throughput. We are looking to add the following number of candidates to the following locations: (3) Shaw AFB (4) Langley AFB (2) Hill AFB (1) Eglin AFB **Essential Functions:** + Maintain accountability and control of flight-testing materials + Update data in PEX, GTIMS, or future Government-mandated equivalent systems, and locally developed computer database systems + Interface with HARM personnel to update the ARMS (or future Government-mandated equivalent systems) + Coordinate with the training officer to review and update student and permanent party records, folders, and grade books IAW applicable AFIs/AFMANs, associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance + Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone, or in person + Perform testing for administrator duties/function for the unit + Conduct monthly reviews of aircrews entering the first month of evaluation eligibility period + Assist in the interpretation of AFIs/AFMANs and provide guidance to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel + Support Stan/Eval Government-assigned Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) personnel with EFB Program + Prepare and provide Stan/Eval products which may include but are not limited to: Evaluating testing status and trend data reports, AF Form 8 (Certificate of Aircrew Qualification), and Standardization Evaluation Board (SEB) reports every six months **Required Skills:** + Bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience working in a squadron (CAF FS/USAFWC/ASOS), group, or wing Stan/Eval program OR 6+ years of experience working in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing Stan/Eval program in lieu of a degree + Experience using PEX or GTIMS or similar scheduling/evaluation program + Possess a Secret security clearance **Preferred Skills:** + Have recent experience supporting CAF FS/AFWX/ASOS or wing Stan/Eval **COMPANY INFORMATION:** Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences. Compensation & Benefits: Pay Ranges: From $69,000-$86,000 per year based on location, years of experience, degree and any special skills and knowledge that they may bring to the position.
