Forklift Operator – Distribution Center (St. Louis, MO)

Location: St. Louis, MO
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour
Environment: Non-climate-controlled and dusty warehouse conditions

Position Overview

A busy distribution center in St. Louis is seeking dependable Forklift Operators for immediate openings. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent daytime hours in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Please note: the warehouse is non-climate-controlled and may have dusty conditions—candidates must be comfortable working in this setting.

Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport merchandise Safely move inventory within the warehouse and staging areas Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs Assist in inventory control and cycle counts Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety protocols and procedures Qualifications Previous experience operating forklifts (certification preferred) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic math and reading skills Strong attention to detail and safety Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, dusty environment Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
