**Apply now for a call within 24 hours!** Job Description Performing stainless steel TIG on tubing down to 5/8 inch. You also have to work with stainless steel that is light .35 in thickness. 50% of the welding is on stainless, 45% is on carbon steel, and 5% is on aluminum. Basically you are connecting one tube to the next by welding small u shaped tubes. This can be very hard for someone with out the right experience since you need to be very proficient so the product doesn't leak. They need to be able to stand over the top of some of the welds and weld very thin materials-they will sometimes be welding with a blind spots. Majority of the welds will be done sitting in a chair, and the wedling tables can be raised or lowered to the proper heights, Responsibilities + Perform flux core MIG welding on steel bridge components. + Work from blueprints to execute full layouts and fabrication tasks. + Operate overhead and Jib cranes as necessary. + Utilize various equipment including band saws, drill presses, stud welders, and grinders. + Move around the shop to fabricate and weld bridges, including working in awkward positions. + Potential to take on lead welder responsibilities in the future. The environment has air conditioning. The position offers two shifts: 2nd Shift from 4 pm to 2:30 am and 1st Shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with two 15-minute breaks and a half-hour unpaid lunch. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
