**Job Description**
The Staffing Operations Coordinator is responsible for administrative services including schedules, reports, payroll, system orientation and overall human resource support for the Nursing Department. To provide specialized knowledge and facilitate maintenance of the Staffing Office’s computerized programs. Assist with supervision of daily activities in the Staffing Office.
**Qualifications**
Education Requirements
+ HS/GED and 4 years of related health care experience, or Associate’s degree and 2 years; Bachelor's or Master’s Degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience Requirements
+ Two years experience in position related to staffing/scheduling.
**Responsibilities**
1. Maintain accurate source data in Clairvia, input demographics of new hires & employee transferring into department as well as inter-site transfers.
2. Inputs daily scheduling changes based on sick calls, PTO/Holiday and shift changes for job codes under the department of nursing such as Nurse Leaders, Educators, Registered Professional Nurses, Patient Care Associates, Nursing Assistants and Business Associates.
3. Reviews schedules for accuracy based on job codes, FTEs and other criteria prior to posting. Ensures schedule postings are in accordance with union contract.
4. Assists the Supervisor and leadership in the preparation of time utilization analyses and reviews with Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers to identify trends in staff scheduling and cost saving opportunities.
5. Assists in the preparation of time utilization reports as well as monthly orientation hours, monthly Constant Observation (CO) hours, monthly turnover and vacancy report, employee attendance reports, and reports as requested by management.
6. Generate monthly licensure expiration report, produce & mail letters monthly. Two weeks prior to month end provide status report to Nursing Education & Nurse Manager.
7. Update licensure information in Clairvia & file copy of registration in personnel file.
8. Monitors certification expiration & emails Payroll and Nursing Educations new certification.
9. Produce computerized monthly schedule in accordance with collective bargaining unit deadlines.
10. Creates reports for senior Nursing leadership and administration as directed by Management. Utilizes the staffing and scheduling system to produce regular and ad hoc reports.
11. Processes tuition reimbursements, maintains database of expenses paid & prepares annual expense report.
12. Processes continuing education reimbursement maintain database of expenses paid & prepare annual expense report.
13. Acts as resource person to Nursing Administration on program content and computer use.
14. Communicates with other departments regarding employee files.
15. Integrates data from various source reports to provide customized reports for Nursing Administration. Provides specific reports to Nursing Management as requested.
16. Participates in implementation of and becomes expert in new computerized programs for Nursing Administration.
17. Directs inquires, when necessary, to the appropriate department or individual for further information and action.
18. Maintains liaison with human resources, payroll and finance as needed.
19. Handles confidential interdisciplinary documentation.
20. Any Other Duties as required.

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66482.07 - $81675 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
