BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

Staffing is a business-critical function at the heart of what we do at BCG. As a Staffing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to allocate consultants to client cases, ensuring an optimal balance between business needs and consultant development. This requires close collaboration with the consulting team, the local staffing team, and leadership to optimize resource utilization while maintaining excellence in staffing processes.

Given the dynamic nature of this role, soft skills are essential to manage senior interactions and facilitate decision making and trade-offs. Strong interpersonal skills are key to building relationships and supporting both consultants and leadership effectively.

Success in this role demands strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, as you will manage high-profile projects and negotiate team assignments with BCG partners. You will also work closely with consultants to understand their development needs, career aspirations, and project preferences, ensuring they are matched with opportunities that align with both their goals and the firm’s strategic priorities.

Additionally, you will be part of the broader Africa Staffing team and the EMESA staffing network, actively contributing to regular staffing and pipeline discussions across the system and within the EMESA region, to which the Casablanca office belongs.

Key tasks include:

• Maintaining a full overview of all consultants in the Casablanca office
• Maintaining an overview of upcoming projects and expected staffing requirements
• Assigning staff to projects, proposals, and other business development work
• Planning and assessing consultants' availability on a weekly basis, working closely with them to manage their staffing needs, provide guidance on upcoming projects, and understand their goals and preferences
• Communicating staffing decisions to consultants and serving as their main point of contact for staffing-related matters
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date staffing profiles for the consulting team and sending out case team confirmations
• Preparing for and participating in pipeline meetings
• Attending Career Development meetings to understand consultants' strengths and development needs
• Managing staffing information in relevant systems, such as the SAM staffing tool and the Teaming survey tool
• Collaborating closely with BCG’s Teaming@BCG coaches to follow up on case progress, ensure cases are running sustainably, and support consultants in maintaining a positive and balanced work environment
• Conducting analyses and producing reports/updates on a weekly basis to provide insights into the overall staffing picture, consultant utilization, and pipeline management
• Acting as a point of contact for the global staffing team and managing cross-office staffing requests
• Supporting staffing analyses and ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders, including consulting staff, Finance, Africa system colleagues, and Global Staffing

What You'll Bring

• Master’s degree, preferably within business or HR
• Approximately 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a related field within an
international environment
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Strong computing skills and comfortable using IT/system tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

Who You'll Work With

This role will allow you to collaborate with diverse teams across BCG, including the local leadership team, the broader consulting team, finance, and recruiting. You will have very close interactions with CDC (Performance Management) and local HR on an ongoing basis, where your insights and contributions will play a significant role in shaping the careers of our consultants within the firm.

You will report to and work closely with our Talent Manager, who oversees staffing and career development for the full consulting team. This collaboration will be key to ensuring optimal resource allocation while balancing business priorities and individual growth.

BCG pioneered strategy consulting more than 50 years ago, and we continue to innovate and redefine the industry. We offer multiple career paths for the world’s best talent to make a real impact on business and society. As part of our team, you will benefit from the breadth and diversity of what we are doing today and where we are headed next.

We count on your authenticity, exceptional work, and strong integrity. In return, we are committed to helping you discover the most fulfilling career journey possible — unlocking your potential to advance the world.
