+ Opportunity to provide career growthThe Staffing Coordinator serves as the primary resource for coordinating with the Nursing Shift Manager the daily patient flow (ADT) along with staffing and providing administrative support to the Department Manager, Shift Manager and Nursing Administration. Person is required to function effectively, independently, and confidentially. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** The Staffing Coordinator will primarily support the House Supervisor with Bed Placement and staffing functions as well as supporting the nursing units for entering admissions and discharges into our ADT system. May be asked to locate equipment and deliver to a certain area within the hospital.This position involves managing work-flows with moderate complexity or multiple projects simultaneously with lesser risk and complexity.There may be instances where individual positions must have additional licenses or certification. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure the appropriate licenses/certifications are obtained for each position. **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS** High School diploma or equivalent requiredTwo-year experience in the program specialtyAble to organize and prioritize high volumes of date/information, telephone calls, competing priorities, while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written) with all stakeholders for the effective treatment of patientsTwo to five years progressively responsible experience as a Staffing Assistant or Admitting Representative **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST** UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
