We are looking for a Staff User Experience (UX) Researcher in the growing Innovation & Strategy organization to accomplish our mission. The Staff UX Researcher will drive research with cross-functional members of the UX, digital product and marketing teams. They will lead UX research to identify new opportunities and improve our digital, service-based experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with significant quantitative and qualitative research experience contributing to innovation through curiosity and rigorous research.

Responsibilities

Independently lead and execute multiple user research projects simultaneously while working closely with UX leadership and cross-functional teams (including Data Science, IT, Product, Human Factors, Design, Clinical, Marketing, and Innovation)Responsible for End-to-End research in their assigned product category, including digital customer journeys, website web portals, Customer Care, and all digital user-facing experiences.Work collaboratively with other user researchersCreate mixed-methods research roadmap(s) by consulting with stakeholders and leadership.Lead and execute the UX research process, from study planning, alignment, and findings communication.Work colsely with legal and data privacy to ensure complianceConduct research on US-based and globally to better understand the needs of People Living With Diabetes and Health Care Providers.Construct polished reports and presentations, with excellent data visualization and narratives.Actively communicate and collaborate with the User Research manager, peers, and stakeholders.Mentor partner researchers in the execution phases of the research process Evangelize insights to drive customer-centered product outcomesIdentify opportunities to improve the user research processesWork closely with vendors to execute external research with high internal standards

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field required. 7+ years of relevant experience in UX, Human Factors, or Marketing/Customer Insights with a focus on researching and developing customer-centric physical, digital, web, and/or service-based productsKnowledgeable (or excited to learn) about diabetes Experience executing primary research with qualitative, as well as quantitative methodology and statistical analysis (e.g., Qualtrics, large-scale surveys)Demonstrated experience leveraging design tools (Figma, Miro, etc ...) for researchWork well in ambiguous situations with the ability to drive research that enables business and design data-driven decision making.

Physical Requirements

NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from our Acton office at least 3x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,825.00 - $208,237.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
