Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within an agile product development life cycle to ensure product releases that meet organizational standards and customer needs.
In this role, you will:

Own medium sized feature or feature set requestsInteract with customers and product managers to understand customer needs and timelinesApply Agile principles to translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planningDemonstrate practical experience in Agile Methodology to runs scrums and stand-ups to collaborate with engineering teams and support them with scope considerations, product requirementsDemonstrate increasing understanding of product and project managementDemonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles to collaborate with Quality Engineering and Build and Release teamsEnsure that intermediate and major features releases meet quality standards and functional requirementsWork with fellow team members and provides subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during User Acceptance Testing as well as after the product is deployed in ProductionShow increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final productDemonstrate awareness of Industrial trends and domain expertiseDemonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). A minimum 8 years of professional experience.

Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining features backlog and specifying requirementsDrive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architectureDefine execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resourcesFacilitate convergence of functional and technicalknowledge and build project teamsWork with globally located technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined planCooperate with and manage external vendors as required. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as requiredManage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the projectManage stakeholder communication and progress reportingEnsure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectationsTrack project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected


Technical Expertise:

Experience in using the Jira or Rally tool to manage requirements processesHave a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large, distributed web applicationEvangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspectiveExperience in customer engagement to facilitate requirementsHas the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasksHas the ability to make basic technology choices based on experienceDemonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements
