What You’ll Do:
As the Corporate Accounting Associate, you’ll report directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager and take on critical responsibilities within financial operations. You'll ensure the accuracy of the firm’s financial reporting, make process improvements as the firm scales, and assist with audits and month-end close. You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams, including Investment Operations and Finance, to help align accounting operations with organizational goals.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
+ Completing month-end financial reporting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, expense management, fixed assets, and cash accounts.
+ Preparing bank account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations each month.
+ Ensuring compliance with SOX controls, internal expense policies, and capitalization policies, while documenting processes.
+ Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
+ Supporting audit preparation and handling ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for candidates who are highly detail-oriented, curious, and analytical, with strong organizational and communication skills. Ideal candidates will also be process-driven and comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
+ Experience: 2-3 years in operational accounting, ideally within the investment or asset management sector.
+ Technical: Solid knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with SOX compliance, accounts payable processes, and reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting systems like Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, or BILL.com is a plus.
+ Technology: Intermediate Excel skills are a must, and familiarity with AI-enhanced workflows is a bonus.
+ Soft Skills: A strong commitment to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
