As a member of the TAP Team, the Senior Software Engineer is a key contributor to the overall software delivery team, in a fast-paced IT environment testing multiple applications. They will develop solutions that will aid and improve the Quality Assurance Automation practices.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead testing efforts on major projects, ensuring quality across UI, API services, and database validations + Develop, execute, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to support scalability and efficiency + Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practice recommendations to the test organization + Manage and maintain test environments while supporting the test management team’s strategic goals + Identify and implement tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance testing processes and drive continuous improvement + Promote and drive best testing practices, innovation, and problem-solving initiatives across the company **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education & Experience:** + Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering related) from four-year college or university and 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience **Skills and Qualifications:** + Advanced knowledge of Java, Python, object-oriented programming, test automation frameworks, and DevOps integration + Extensive expertise in testing processes, techniques, tools, environments, and test data management + Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high curiosity and drive to succeed + Experienced in Agile environments with ability to contribute individually and collaboratively within teams + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences + Effective coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to support team growth and development Visa sponsorship not available for this role **Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.** **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits . Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
