Staff Software Engineer (HYBRID)
**What You Will Do** **Technical Responsibilities:** + Architect, design, develop, andmaintainhighly available, secure, and scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN stack (or similar) within a cloud-hosted infrastructure. + Modernize and incrementally migrate legacy Java services to NodeJS. + Integrate applications with external systems and APIs using modern, secure, and efficient techniques. + Establish and implement automated testing frameworks and processes, ensuring robust code quality and reliability. + Utilize cloud services effectively, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), tooptimizeapplication performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. **Business Responsibilities:** + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering &DevOpsto understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables. + Provide clear, consistent, and transparent communication to stakeholdersregardingdevelopment progress, risks, and solutions **General Responsibilities:** + Endeavor to elevate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of yourself and others, fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment aiming to continuously grow and improve. + Regularly review and enforce coding standards,updatingand improving technical standards asrequired. **What You Need (Required Qualifications)** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Engineering,Information Technology, or related field. + 6+ years of proven full-stack development experience. + Extensive hands-on experienceandunderstanding of best practices in web and server-side development.Proven experience with modern Web UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and Backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, or Python). + Proficiencyin modern software development practices, includingmicroservicesarchitecturesand API development. + Experience withRelational &NoSQL databases (MongoDB & PostgreSQL). + Proficiency with core front-end languages: HTML, CSS, TypeScript. **Preferred Qualifications** + Prior cloud hosting experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). + Prior experience working with real-time data streaming and analytics. + Experience leveraging and standardizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve developer productivity whilemaintainingcode quality, security, and review standards. $133,400 - $222,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
