Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Core Platform Engineering Team, specifically the Numaflow Team, an Intuit-led open source project focused on real-time data processing.

The role involves developing, maintaining, and ensuring the seamless functioning and reliability of Numaflow, a cutting-edge open source project for real-time streaming and batch data workloads. The successful candidate will focus on building new features, optimizing performance, and enhancing the scalability of Numaflow, which is integral to real-time data processing systems powering Intuit’s flagship products such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, as well as several internal platforms.

Responsibilities include all aspects of platform development, deployment, service adoption, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the Numaflow open source project by designing and delivering Kubernetes-native solutions for scalable real-time data processing systems.

The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of Rust and Java, knowing C/C++ is a plus. Familiarity with AWS is a plus. While expertise in Kubernetes is not required, the candidate must be willing to learn and work with Kubernetes based platforms.
