In this role, you will:
Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with factsDemonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boardingExecute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet the product release goalMaintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automationSeek and provide feedback on design and developmentDemonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or moduleHelp in designing interfaces and information exchange between modulesArticulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectDrive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designsBe an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practicesBe an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choiceBe responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureProvide guidance to a team of developers with either planning and execution and/or design architecture using agile methodologies such as SCRUMWork with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & visionWrite code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.Educational Qualification:
Bachelor' s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience.
Technical Qualifications:
9+ years of professional software development experience with history of technical innovation.
3+ years of experience with building scalable, distributed systems using modern frameworks such as AWS or Cloud.
Experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience using Java or typescript & scripting language- Python or Golang.
Experience with design and implementation of micro services / containers -Docker & Kubernetes.
Experience with design and implementation of micro services / containers.
Experience with design/architecting large-scale distributed systems preferably using AWS technologies.
Experience with supporting production software deployments
Technical expertise across all deployment models on public cloud, and on-premises infrastructure
Experience creating, documenting, and communicating software architectures for complex products.
Experience in containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architecture.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience including with data systems, analytics.
Experience working directly with end customers to assess needs, identify solutions, and constructively resolve disagreements
Bring fresh ideas from all areas, including testing and validation automation while maintaining the production availability, conversion automation, distributed computing, large-scale system design
Experience in building, tracking, and communicating plans within Agile processes
Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies.
