Essential Functions:
Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our suite of Emerging Services applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement scalable test automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
In this role, you will also be responsible for reviewing and enhancing our existing Test Frameworks, developing, and executing detailed testing plans, and addressing any anomalies or issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams within the organization to ensure that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess robust programming skills, with extensive experience in languages such as Java and JavaScript. You should demonstrate proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable code, debugging, and problem-solving within these languages. In-depth knowledge of the latest Java and JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and best practices is essential. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms in the context of Java and JavaScript.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong hands-on experience on UI Test automation tools like Cypress &/ Selenium.
• Strong hands-on experience on API Test automation tools like Karate &/ Rest Assured.
• Strong hands on programing experience using languages like Java, JavaScript & various libraries.
• Working knowledge of databases like SQL, Oracle, Mongo etc.
• Working knowledge of Containers.
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP based Web Services.
• Experience with Test management tools like Jira, ALM, Share point & Confluence.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues related to code and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of various test and development methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
• Strong understanding of Agile, scrum and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
