Job DescriptionSummary of Job Responsibility
The Lead Software Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of new and existing features for our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing applications using modern web technologies (Angular, JavaScript, Typescript) along with back-end services/APIs (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core). They should also be knowledgeable about databases (SQL Server), containerization & orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), continuous integration & continuous deployment (Jenkins), and test automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman). Knowledge of edge computing technologies like AWS Lambda functions or Azure Functions would be beneficial as well. Additionally, they need to possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multiple teams both locally and remotely.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, imaging/signal processing or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience working on software projects using Agile methodology
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts such as inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, etc.
Proficiency in at least one general purpose scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
Knowledge of microservice architecture patterns
Familiarity with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Experience leveraging CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment (Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines)
Comfortable working within a global team environment where collaboration tools are essential (Slack, Trello, Jira)
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise
