General Summary:

This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of developing, defining, and executing plans of record for both pre-Si and post Si validation of internally designed devices including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders including software and hardware engineering across functions on technical matters as well as associated testing tools required for validation and benchmarking. Manages and takes responsibility for multiple medium sized programs/technology including coordination of requirements for software teams based on analog and digital IC designs of sub systems, with moderate complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines. Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders. Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, discuss involvement of business processes (e.g., program change management, communication) and drives decisions necessary for on time delivery. Generate standard reporting structure for validation reports and comparative performance analysis. Act as a strong contributor at design reviews, reporting on potential bugs and design issues and coordinate project meetings by owning the technical documentation tracker, requirements, and descriptions. Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for multiple medium sized programs including validation process for both Pre-silicon and post-silicon, by implementing schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholders’ identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, and prioritization. Establishes key program metrics and manages team to act outside their comfort zone to ensure program success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record. Provide technical documentation, descriptions, and information to Test Engineers on validation plan. Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand for multiple medium sized programs with moderate complexity. Drives teams to identify program issues/risks and create a risk mitigation plan for multiple medium sized or a single complex program(s). Maintains and updates the risk tracker. Promotes program vision and objectives within the team, ensures program objectives are met or exceeded, presents program vision to management, and gains buy-in from stakeholders. Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices across software engineering, application engineering and test engineers by identifying and executing process improvement initiatives across the Program Management team.

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and three (3) years of experience in a related occupation. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and seven (7) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Pay Range: $188,302.00 - $256,800.00
