Staff Product Manager - Managed Fleet Drivers

By focusing on autonomous vehicle technology, connected car ecosystems, and sustainable fleet management, we are creating products that meet the evolving needs of modern mobility. **A Day in the Life:** As Staff Product Manager for Managed Fleet Driver Experience, you’ll lead the design and delivery of digital tools that support drivers through every step of their journey—from joining our platform to completing trips. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and product teams to create intuitive, high-impact solutions that scale with our growth and evolve with driver needs. The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $215,000 This job will remain posted until it is filled. **What You’ll Do:** + Own the product strategy and roadmap for driver-facing digital experiences, including onboarding, shift scheduling, support, earnings transparency, and engagement. + Create frictionless workflows for gig workers onboarding onto the platform, ensuring clarity around expectations, performance metrics, and compliance. + Build tools that promote driver satisfaction, safety, and operational efficiency, driving KPIs such as trip throughput, safe driving, and retention. + Collaborate closely with design, engineering, data science, and operations to bring user-centric solutions to life at scale. + Lead integrations with rideshare and delivery platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity, job activation, and performance tracking. + Use driver feedback, behavioral data, and industry research to identify areas of opportunity and continuously optimize the experience. + Balance business outcomes with user empathy, aligning roadmap priorities to both growth goals and long-term platform health. **What We’re Looking For:** + 7–10 years of product management experience, preferably building B2B, fleet management, or workforce-focused platforms. + Proven ability to lead initiatives that improve user experience, engagement, and performance across complex operational environments. + Strong intuition for product design and experience in mobile-first user interfaces. + Exceptional communication skills and ability to drive alignment across stakeholders and technical teams. + Highly data-literate; comfortable using behavioral insights and operational metrics to make roadmap decisions. + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. + Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations + Ability to influence + Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems + Ability to build and lead a diverse, high-performing, results-oriented, and highly-engaged team. + Ability to drive process and organizational change. + Ability to motivate teams and keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented mindset. + Ability to see the big picture and leverage critical thinking and decision-making skills. + Excellent organization, time management, delegation, and prioritization skills. + Courageous leadership and accountability. **What You’ll Get:** + Up to 40% off the base rate of any standard Hertz Rental + Paid Time Off + Medical, Dental & Vision plan options + Retirement programs, including 401(k) employer matching + Paid Parental Leave & Adoption Assistance + Employee Assistance Program for employees & family + Educational Reimbursement & Discounts + Voluntary Insurance Programs - Pet, Legal/Identity Theft, Critical Illness + Perks & Discounts –Theme Park Tickets, Gym Discounts & more The Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, Thrifty Car Rental brands in approximately 9,700 corporate and franchisee locations throughout North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
