Staff Physician, Hematopathology
Cleveland Clinic seeks multiple Staff Physicians, Hematopathology at Main Campus (9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195). Diagnoses and classifies leukemias, lymphomas, and other related malignant and benign processes via microscopic review of morphology combined with interpretation and integration of multi-modal high complexity ancillary diagnostic tests. Identifies etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of hematological diseases; writes pathology reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions; and communicates findings to treating physicians. Weekday and weekend phone call responsibilities and periodic weekend hours as needed. Position requires a MD, DO, or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate; Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Hematopathology; and eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio. Annual salary $340,000 - $505,500 (commensurate with qualifications and experience).
