Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pharmacist to lead operations in a small, clinic-based pharmacy. As the sole pharmacist, supported by two pharmacy technicians, you will be instrumental in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-centered care to a walk-in, self-pay population. This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, collaborative healthcare, and meaningful patient interaction.

Responsibilities
+ Dispense and supervise medication and supplies filling processes.
+ Review prescriptions for accuracy and check for drug interactions.
+ Compound medications and prepare special solutions.
+ Counsel patients on appropriate medication use.
+ Oversee daily ordering and manage automatic refills.
+ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
+ Recommend changes to drug therapy when appropriate.
+ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
+ Guide and direct pharmacy technicians and students.
+ Provide information to physicians and healthcare professionals on proper drug therapy.
+ Review OTC and medical prescriptions for suitability.
+ Provide patients with information on drug interactions, side effects, and storage requirements.
+ Maintain records of patient profiles, inventory, and narcotics registries.
+ Calculate, weigh, and mix ingredients to compound drugs as prescribed.
Essential Skills
+ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
+ Licensure as a Pharmacist.
+ Experience in filling prescriptions and pharmaceutical care.
+ Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance.
+ Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
+ Experience in retail pharmacy and pharmacy support.
+ Business-minded approach to grow and maintain pharmacy operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $70.00/hr.
