The Staff Oracle Functional Consultant is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, configuring application modules to align with organizational needs, and conducting thorough testing and validation of functionality. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. The Staff Oracle Functional Consultant also collaborates closely with software architects to evaluate and propose solutions, leveraging deep functional knowledge and technical insight into application modules.

This position will be on-site in Kraków or Warszawa (Poland).

What you will do:

Define functional designs and Oracle EBS configurations that support strategic goals such as growth, simplification, cost efficiency, mergers & acquisitions, system sustainability, and quality improvements. Create and present functional requirement documents, ensuring alignment with Oracle best practices.

Provide expert functional guidance to ERP software architects and technical teams by leveraging standard Oracle EBS functionality, minimizing customizations, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and reduction of technical debt.

Support Oracle EBS module evaluations and functional proof of concepts, contributing to the development of a functional roadmap that integrates with the broader IT ecosystem.

Document Oracle EBS configurations and business process flows across the SCM modules such as Manufacturing, Warehousing, Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management. Collaborate across multiple projects and promote adherence to Oracle-native features and workflows.

Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, including business leaders, superusers, project teams, module experts, developers, validation managers, operations team, middleware teams and enterprise architects.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent IT technical work experience with a minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience.

In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.2+ products in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) area, the supporting technical foundation and architecture, and PL/SQL proficiency.

Proficiency in ITIL processes (including incident, problem, and change management), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and working with Computer System Validation (CSV) in a GxP environment.

Experience in supporting global, large-scale applications spanning multiple countries and business units.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel for up to 20% of the time to Cytiva sites globally.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and/or other cloud-based/SaaS ERP systems.

Oracle Developer Suite 10g (Reports/Forms Builder, Workflow Builder, Message Designer)

Working with Jira/Atlassian project management software.

Understanding of Oracle AIM (Application Implementation Methodology) or similar standards.
