As the Senior Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing Structural testing of Wheel and Brake components for ensuring products meet engineering and customer specifications. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who has a strong background in instrumenting, testing, and completing structural testing of complex mechanical equipment. **What You Will Do** Instrumentation : Installation of Strain Gauges and other sensors for structural engineering + Applying, wiring, and trouble-shooting strain gauges, load or displacement transducers, pressure transducers, and DC electronics + Interpret instrumentation and component drawings of wheel and brake and prepare test articles according to the test requests and drawings Data acquisition: + Configure and program DAQ equipment, troubleshoot signal noise, and ensure sensors are functioning properly before testing. + Knowledge and expertise in ¼ bridge strain gages, full bridge components & DC voltage signals. Calibration of the signals for data acquisition system. Testing and Data Processing : + Conduct structural, fatigue, or overload tests according to engineering or customer specifications. + Perform bolt preload test and torque tension tests as per industry standard/norms. + Record and analyze test data, generate test reports to support engineers and project team Maintain Test Equipment and safe work practice: + Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and tools to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Adhere to safety protocols, including the handling of electrical, mechanical, chemical materials including hazardous items for managing the laboratory safely.
