Equipment Engineering (MEQ) team provides value add by: Developing (investment and maintenance) budgets and ensuring investments and technical projects stay in line accordingly. Evaluating, selecting and ordering appropriate equipment for the production of products. Supervising installation, modification, upgrading, and maintenance of equipment, in cooperation with service provider engaged. Maintaining records of equipment manufacturers' technical communications, upgrades, and safety issues. Analyzing equipment performance and reliability to increase equipment uptime, or resolve production issues if necessary. Providing technical support and training to maintenance staff (e.g., with preventative maintenance programs). A job at this level: Accountably consults with internal stakeholders on the design and layout of technical processes and infrastructure systems. Analyzes function-specific trends (e. g. , technologies, markets, regulations), and elaborates options for infrastructure projects. Evaluates alternative options for infrastructure systems, solutions and suppliers, proposes external provider and manages relations. Manages technical infrastructure projects plan the project steps, monitors milestone achievements, and coordinate resources. Ensures adherence to agreed budgets, resources, as well as to given principle standards and limits. Deploy meaningful management reports on the infrastructure and related projects assigned.
