OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related field. • 5+ years of experience with computer architecture or embedded systems. • 1+ year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience. environment **Preferred Qualifications:** • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related field. • 5+ years of experience with computer architecture or embedded systems. • 1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports. • 1+ year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience. environment **Principal Duties and Responsibilities:** • Experience with Linux kernel imaging and software packaging/installation tools, especially RPM/YUM • Experience with development, deployment and management of containerized applications using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes • Experience with automation tools for provisioning, configuration management tools such as Ansible • Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, svn) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) • Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. bridging, routing) and kernel programming, especially on Linux • Knowledge of system performance optimization, multi-core, multi-processor, multi-threaded development • Knowledge of device drivers, especially for high-speed data transfer • Knowledge of real-time and embedded software development for general purpose and heterogeneous processors including GPUs and DSPs • Knowledge of distributed systems and networking protocols • Knowledge of protocols such as 5G NR, LTE and 802.11 • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative and diverse software team environment **Level of Responsibility:** • Works under supervision. • Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group. • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
