Job DescriptionResponsible for understanding the eMMC and UFS specification, and design compliance, functional, stress, error injection and cross functional test casesResponsible for understanding the Firmware Design, architecture and coming up with test casesCommunicating the Requirements in a precise mannerDeveloping test scripts and executing them on HardwareDebugging the failures coming from RegressionArticulate the issue to the stake holdersAbility to understand, debug the Firmware/Simulator code

QualificationsIn depth understanding of firmware algorithms used in any NAND Flash based storage devices (SSD, eMMC, UFS, SD, USB Flash drives) or other storage devicesKnowledge in any Host protocols like as UFS, eMMC, SCSI, SATA, PCIe, NVMe is an added advantageExperienced and familiar with firmware development, Integration and validationKnowledgeable on product and quality standards and relevant host protocols, in particular eMMC and UFS.Test coverage methods for real-time embedded systems, especially storage systems and/or NAND storageAble to methodically root cause complex failure mechanismStrong programming knowledge & debugging skills in Python, C and C++ , Shell.Soft skills, Excellent written and verbal skills, be a Team playerAble to develop key relationshipsAble to elect requirements from all stakeholdersBe able to work in pressure for quick resolution and delivery.Knowledge on Mobile/Compute/Industrial OS and FilesystemExperience in the area of digital and analog design

 

Experience required     :    Minimum 5+ years in storage related segments 

Minimum Qualifications :     BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MS
