Job Description
Our client is building a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into high-quality inputs for new batteries. We are seeking a Staff Architect to join our Infrastructure Development team and lead the design and execution of large-scale industrial projects.
Role Responsibilities
• Lead and manage large-scale industrial architecture projects (e.g., manufacturing plants)
○ Medium projects: $2M–$10M
○ Large projects: $90M–$400M (~200,000 sq ft)
• Oversee project closeout in South Carolina and redistribute remaining site work
• Manage multiple concurrent projects
• Participate in feasibility studies and tenant improvements
• Execute code planning and life safety design
• Produce construction documents and obtain building permits
• Serve as Architect of Record for licensed candidates
• Drive discipline coordination and ensure project quality, standards, and specifications
• Contribute to project scheduling and cost estimating
• Develop workflows, templates, and process improvements to increase design productivity
• Support construction administration and observe field work to improve quality
• Maintain team morale and address capability/capacity gaps

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to speak to leadership
• Experience in construction administration
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills
• Must be licensed or able to obtain architectural licensure (Nevada license preferred)
• Open to candidates from small to medium-sized firms • Experience with:
○ Industrial projects (not residential)
○ Schools, courthouses, manufacturing plants
○ Feasibility studies and tenant improvements
• Working knowledge of:
○ UL508A standard for industrial control panels
○ NEC Article 409
