The Opportunity:
As a CACI-SOAS Staff Action Specialist, your worksite will be at the command headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, for the entire period of performance. The Staff Action Specialist shall be responsible for interacting with USAFRICOM staff directorates to coordinate and train staff members on the conferencing program and approval process. You will be expected to train the directorates to standardize the authorization and funding of conferences in preparation for decision by the USAFRICOM Deputy Commander. The Staff Action Specialist may be required to attend meetings and provide briefings on the status of their conference approval process and manage the Task Management Tool (TMT) on all actions associated with the conference package approval process. Work will be both classified and unclassified. The Staff Action Specialist will also be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to USAFRICOM senior leaders and an annual revision of the USAFRICOM Instruction for Hosted Events.

Responsibilities:
Daily review of conference packages and/or assigned staff actions
Coordinate weekly with directorates on status of conferences
Report monthly to Deputy Chief of Staff on status of conferences
Report quarterly to Chief of Staff on status of conferences
Manage all staff actions at SJS level regarding conferences through Task Management Tool
Oversee the routing and approval process for the use of 312 funds- 12 million USD fund
Annual revision of USAFRICOM Instruction for Hosted Events
Annual updates to the List of USAFRICOM Hosted Events (completed by 30 June each year)
Coordinate with directorates’ Subject Matter Experts (SME) to provide quarterly training to Action Officers
Lead the coordination with directorate’s SME to build a conference approval guide or checklist for Action Officers via the Task Management Tool System
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of current Secret Security Clearance.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
1+ years experience managing and supporting staff requirements.
Working knowledge of DoD, DoS, and USAFRICOM policies
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, or an Associate’s degree and seven (7) years of experience
Desired:
Working knowledge of the missions of USAFRICOM, US Special Operations Command, and their corresponding components and sub-unified commands.
Experience interacting with and briefing Flag and General Officers.
Five (5) years experience with DoD and DoS systems to support staff requirements
Prior experience in direct support of the client
Ability to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
Experience with the Task Management Tool (TMT)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
