We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant – Income Auditor to support the Finance team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the resort's daily revenue reporting and financial records.

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant – Income Auditor audits daily resort revenues, reconciles financial activity, prepares journal entries, supports month-end close, and partners with operational departments to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant – Income Auditor audits daily resort revenues, reconciles financial activity, prepares journal entries, supports month-end close, and partners with operational departments to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Essential Responsibilities Audit daily revenue from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Spa, Golf, Retail, and Recreation. Verify room revenue, taxes, service charges, discounts, and package postings. Review PMS, POS, and accounting system interfaces. Investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies. Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Reports. Review cash over/short reports and manager adjustments. Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Assist with sales tax reporting and maintain accounting documentation. Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 2–4 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Hospitality or hotel accounting experience Income Audit experience Experience with hotel PMS and POS systems ERP/accounting software experience Benefits Competitive salary Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and Holidays Employee discounts and professional development opportunities Join Our Team
