Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant II to join our team in Wheeling, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and experience managing financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization's financial accuracy and efficiency while working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain alignment between company records and financial statements. • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger with precision and attention to detail. • Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is properly accounted for. • Maintain and analyze the general ledger to support accurate reporting and compliance. • Utilize Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to streamline and enhance accounting workflows. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve financial processes. • Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role. • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation. • Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
