Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant I to join our team in Mira Loma, California. In this role, you will support various accounting functions, including month-end close processes, vendor management, and asset reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. • Perform accounts payable tasks such as processing invoices and managing vendor relationships. • Support asset management by learning and managing fixed assets processes. • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. • Conduct check runs and ensure proper documentation and compliance. • Utilize accounting software systems, including Acumatica, for daily operations. • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and enhance efficiency. • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for audits and internal reviews. • Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating attention to detail. • Familiarity with fixed assets accounting is preferred. • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Acumatica, is a plus. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial analysis. • Experience with accounts payable and invoice processing. • Competence in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
