We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is crucial in supporting the financial compliance and reporting needs of our business, while also contributing to our profitability through effective cost control strategies.
ResponsibilitiesManage financial reporting processes.Oversee general ledger and subsystems.Conduct information systems testing.Execute month-end close processes.Participate in year-end audits.Perform monthly reconciliation and analysis of various balance sheet and P&L accounts.Assist with maintaining sound internal control processes and JSOX audits.Contribute to special projects as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or two years of experience in the accounting field.Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the accounting team and other departments.Strong ethical and moral beliefs to uphold the company's code of ethics and values.Work EnvironmentEnjoy a daytime shift with excellent hours in a collaborative culture that offers opportunities for career growth. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
