Description Robert Half is seeking talented Accounting professionals to join our Consulting practice in Madison, Wisconsin. As an Accounting Consultant, you’ll work with a variety of organizations—providing expertise across accounting, finance, and business operations. This role offers the stability of a full-time position with the variety and growth opportunities of consulting. Responsibilities: Provide hands-on accounting and finance support to client organizations on a project or interim basis Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting Support general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account analysis Help implement and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls Partner with clients on special projects such as system implementations, audit prep, and process optimization Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting or finance experience (public accounting, industry, or consulting) Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) is a plus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
