Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing company to search for a driven and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team in Harahan, Louisiana. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and contribute to maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and record accurate journal entries to maintain financial records. • Perform account reconciliations and manage month-end close procedures. • Assist in creating financial statements and management reports for internal review. • Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy. • Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Collaborate with various departments to analyze manufacturing costs and monitor inventory control. • Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. • Participate in special projects and identify opportunities for process improvements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 1–3 years of accounting experience, open to strong internship experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
