Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the organization’s overall accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. • Oversee invoicing activities and ensure timely processing of payments. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify alignment between company and bank records. • Handle debits and credits accurately to maintain financial balance. • Assist with corporate tax preparation and filing, including sales tax compliance. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations in all financial activities. • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting needs. • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. • Strong knowledge of corporate tax processes, including sales tax and corporate tax returns. • Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger records. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy. • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
