In this role, you will handle financial operations and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic field of design. Responsibilities: • Process payroll for a team of 25 employees, including union-related and public works job considerations. • Perform detailed job costing to accurately allocate expenses and project budgets. • Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, including bill payments and record maintenance. • Review and approve or decline client invoices based on established criteria. • Handle bank deposits and manage receipt of funds efficiently. • Conduct calculations for commissions and ensure timely disbursement. • Audit invoices and coordinate vendor payments for approved and delivered materials. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; an associate degree with significant experience may be considered. • Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented accounting experience. • Familiarity with payroll processing and job costing methods. • Experience working in the construction industry is highly desirable. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively. • Proficiency in financial software and tools for accounting tasks.
