Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. You will play a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: • Reconcile bank accounts to verify the accuracy of financial transactions. • Oversee month-end closing procedures, including the preparation of financial statements and reports. • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain precise financial records. • Review general ledger accounts and promptly address any discrepancies. • Partner with other departments to streamline financial processes and reporting. • Stay informed about current accounting standards and practices to ensure compliance. • Evaluate financial data to provide insights that support strategic business decisions.
