Job Description A leading consumer and repair services company supports commercial and residential spaces globally across 4.5M customers. The accounting team is seeking a Staff Accountant to support in finalizing year end books. This individual is detail-oriented and experienced in accounting or finance who can comfortably carry out responsibilities with tight deadline. This is a heavy hands-on role focused on General Ledger analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of supporting documentation and disclosures for monthly and ½ year / full year financials. The role is also responsible for documenting procedures and participating in process improvement projects. Other technical accounting and reporting tasks may be delegated. Must be comfortable 5 days a week onsite in Norwalk, CT. Skills and Requirements -3+ years' experience as a Staff Accountant -Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance -Experience in Oracle -Strong working knowledge of general ledger -Expertise in reconciliation -Comfortable supporting various financial systems and accounts -Proficient in MS Word / Excel MBA Degree or licensed CPA
