Luihn VantEdge Partners proudly operates 200 locations across 5 states, and we're looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to help keep our financial operations running smoothly. What You'll Do: As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records that track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other critical financial activities. Key Responsibilities: + Support period closings and assist in preparing financial statements + Perform daily deposit and bank reconciliations + Complete multi-state, city, and county sales tax reporting + Prepare and review credit card reconciliations + Maintain the General Ledger with accurate journal entries and account reconciliations + Research and resolve discrepancies across accounts + Create special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data + Prepare personal property tax returns + Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and practices + Provide auditors with documentation and account details during annual audits + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals + Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information + Contribute to team success through special projects and additional duties as needed What You Bring: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent relevant experience) + Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software + Ability to manage and track budgets effectively + Familiarity with standard accounting principles and procedures + Strong data entry and general math skills + Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity Why Join Luihn VantEdge Partners?
