Description A well-established manufacturing company in Vista is seeking a proactive Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting department. This is a hands-on role focused on daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You’ll work directly under the Accounting Manager and collaborate with operations, purchasing, and payroll to ensure accurate financial data across the organization. Responsibilities: + Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. + Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing as needed. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts. + Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries. + Support audit preparation and annual budgeting processes. + Generate monthly financial statements and assist with variance analysis. + Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for all accounting functions. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or distribution. + Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (pivot tables, lookups). + Strong understanding of GAAP principles and attention to accuracy. + Excellent communication and time-management skills.
