\n\t\t\t\t\tThe Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. This position is responsible for journal entries, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nExecute month-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines.\nPrepare and record journal entries and reconcile accounts across multiple entities.\nAnalyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.\nInvestigate and resolve variances in account reconciliations; collaborate with peers and escalate issues to the Accounting Manager when necessary.\nContribute to the preparation of annual audited financial statements.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.\nDocument policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned responsibilities.\nParticipate in ad-hoc and recurring projects to provide financial analysis and drive process improvements.\nAnalyze lease and owner payment data; recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
\n\t\t\t\t\tBachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA candidate preferred.\nMinimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in industries including lease accounting. \nStrong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSolid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory standards.\nExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications.\nSelf-motivated and effective in both independent and team-oriented environments.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
