Our client in the Oklahoma City, OK metroplex is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Accounting Department! The Staff Accountant will have experience in the following.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

Maintains accounting records in conformance with general accepted accounting principlesConduct general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnelSupport financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accountsProcesses accounts receivable and payable transactionsPerform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in staff accounting or related fieldBachelor's degree in accounting or related field is highly preferred, but Associates' degree in accounting or related field is a plusCPA license or equivalent is a plusProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelKnowledge or working experience with financial accounting softwares a plusThorough understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
