Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will contribute to the financial operations of a logistics firm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable and general ledger management to grow within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Manage the general ledger and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. • Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment approvals. • Collaborate with payroll teams to support accurate and timely payroll processing. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure compliance with accounting standards. • Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting tasks and improve efficiency. • Analyze financial data and provide reports to support decision-making processes. • Identify opportunities for process automation and implement improvements where feasible.
