Staff Accountant
Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to oversee and manage daily financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports. This role will support multiple global sites, focusing on general accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining effective financial controls. For Immediate Interview contact Victor Muller at 508 205 2136 Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Manage fixed assets, track capital expenditures, and ensure proper documentation. • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Oversee accounts receivable collections and coordinate accounts payable processing with relevant team members. • Monitor cash flow, prepare cash forecasts, and provide recommendations on spending and loan requirements. • Assist in the preparation of annual company budgets and cash budgets to support strategic planning. • Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and detailed explanations. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying informed of legislative changes. • Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and handle business license renewals. • Support business insurance renewals, including coverage for personnel, property, and vehicles. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficiency in managing general ledger entries, month-end close processes, and financial analysis. • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate tax regulations, including sales tax and corporate tax return preparation. • Experience with multi-site operations and foreign currency consolidation is preferred. • Advanced skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and recommend financial actions.
