In this role, you will handle key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations. If interested in this role, please call Dan Diez at 808.452.0260 Responsibilities: • Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations. • Manage sales tax filings and ensure timely submission. • Record and reconcile journal entries to maintain accurate financial data. • Oversee the general ledger and ensure it aligns with company financial policies. • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial records. • Collaborate with other departments to address accounting discrepancies and improve processes. • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filing. • Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and processes. • Proficiency in handling journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts. • Familiarity with preparing financial statements and reports. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
