Description Robert Half is working with a great company in SE Charlotte who is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and supporting various accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial tracking. • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review and timely payments. • Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Conduct hourly entries and related data entry tasks with precision and efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger systems. • Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
