Staff Accountant
Location: New York, NY (On-site)
Salary: $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday in person, 9:30am-5:30pm, with paid overtime during peak periods

A leading organization in the live entertainment industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers hands-on exposure to general ledger functions, investment analysis, and financial reporting within a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts

Conduct investment portfolio and inventory control analysis

Perform weekly payroll audits

Prepare and analyze financial statements

Prepare bank reconciliations

Support corporate tax provision processes

Assist with special projects and fiscal year-end activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting preferred

Familiarity with accounting theory (e.g., fixed assets, tax, GL)

Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus

Strong analytical and communication skills
