Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in Wilmington, Massachusetts. For additional consideration, please contact MICHAEL ABATE @ michael.abate@roberthalfcom Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies. • Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring consistency and reliability in financial reporting. • Prepare and post journal entries to support daily and monthly accounting activities. • Assist with month-end close processes, including reconciliations and report generation. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and SAP to streamline financial operations. • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts. • Solid understanding of journal entries and month-end close procedures. • Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite and SAP. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when handling financial data. • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively. • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards to ensure compliance. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
