What You'll DoAbout this role:
We are seeking a versatile staff accountant with experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll and reconciling general ledgers.
Responsibilities
Compliance:Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Data Entry: Strong attention to detail in entering accounts payable invoices.Payroll: Attention to accuracy in processing payroll- construction industry knowledge a plus. Collaboration:Collaborating with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members. Audits:Assisting with financial audits related to construction projects.Essential Skills
Accounting Principles:Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights. Communication Skills:Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial team members. Computer Skills:Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Professionalism: Must demonstrate courteous service and ethical behavior.Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
