Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our exciting client's team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and generating insightful reports. Responsibilities: • Review financial statements, expenses, and past tax returns to develop effective organizational and monitoring strategies. • Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial reports to management, ensuring accuracy and clarity. • Perform general bookkeeping tasks and maintain organized financial records, forms, and receipts. • Ensure all company financial transactions comply with legal standards and are accurately recorded. • Analyze annual budgets and identify transactions requiring follow-up documentation. • Create invoices for both personal and business services, tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. • Gather and interpret tax-related materials, including tables, instructions, and forms, to calculate taxes accurately. • Collaborate with clients to collect relevant personal and business information that may impact deductions or allowances.
