Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to accurate financial reporting. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure smooth financial processes while supporting general administrative and operational needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
+ Support daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and payroll coordination
+ Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure compliance and audit readiness
+ Assist with monthly and periodic close processes
+ Support expense tracking, invoice processing, and payment management
+ Help monitor costs and support budgeting and expense control efforts
+ Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
+ Collaborate with external accountants and vendors as needed
Operational & Administrative Support
+ Maintain organized records, contracts, and documentation
+ Provide general administrative and scheduling support across the organization
+ Assist with vendor management, office-related expenses, and operational coordination
+ Support leadership with ad hoc projects, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed
People & Process Support
+ Assist with employee-related administrative processes such as onboarding, benefits coordination, and payroll-related documentation
+ Help maintain HR systems and employee records
+ Support internal process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across accounting and operations
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
+ 2–3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles
+ Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and payroll processes
+ Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with cloud-based tools is a plus
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
+ Ability to identify issues, problem-solve, and proactively support business needs
