Stabilization Specialist Supervisor - Lynn, MA
Salary: $1400 / Week Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Lynn, MA who is currently seeking a mental health worker to assist them at their Clinical Service Center on a contractual basis. Details of the position include: Location: Lynn, MA Duration: 6 1/2 months to cover a maternity leave Setting: Psychiatric/Behavioral Openings: + M-F 11a-7p ( No weekends or holidays) Salary: $28/hr POSITION DESCRIPTION: + Attend and document All Staff Meetings and CCS Leadership Meetings. Prepare summaries, update meeting documents, and distribute notes to all staff via email. + Develop and maintain the monthly food menu; update as needed and ensure menus are printed weekly and posted in the kitchen. + Prepare the weekly dinner food shopping list and ensure timely submission. + Manage kitchen operations, including printing and replacing fridge temperature logs at the end of each month. + Oversee ordering and inventory of unit supplies (Amazon and medical supplies), while adhering to budget guidelines. + Facilitate 3:00 PM shift changes alongside the Clinical Coordinator and unit staff. Create meetings and document updates in Chorus. + Conduct chart audits within 48 hours of client admission; identify missing documents and communicate follow-up needs to clinicians and stabilization specialists. + Submit Prior Authorization requests via CoverMyMeds platform at the Nurse Practitioner’s direction. + Support the coordination of client admissions and discharges, including referrals (e.g., VNA) as needed. + Submit IT and maintenance tickets as required. + Coordinate monthly fire drills across rotating shifts (7a–3p, 3p–11p, 11p–7a) and ensure compliance. + Manage food bank delivery logistics: send reminders for fridge/pantry clean-outs, put away deliveries, and adjust menus to incorporate donated items while reducing waste and costs. + Assist with development of the monthly staff schedule, as needed. + Collaborate closely with unit management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality client care. QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid driver's license - 1+ years prior experience working with adults having severe and persistent mental illness - Must have bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field and three years’ experience.
